Phoenix Reisen

What Phoenix Reisen is like

German-language ocean voyages on classic older ships, plus river cruises, for German-speaking travelers who value long itineraries, included table wine and a traditional onboard style.

German-only onboard

German is the sole onboard language across Phoenix ships, including programming and hosting.

Practical included extras

Ocean fares include full board, table wine and juice with main meals, port taxes and Frankfurt flights. (Ocean ships; flights to/from Frankfurt, other gateways at surcharge.)

Classic older ships

Ocean ships carry roughly 570–1,200 guests; the Amera dates from 1988, with classic lounges and a promenade. (Ocean fleet (Amadea, Artania, Amera).)

Check before booking

• With German as the only onboard language, non-German speakers may struggle with announcements, lectures and guided excursions; check language comfort first.
• On the Amera, four elevators serve nine decks and satellite internet can't handle streaming; check your ship's facilities if connectivity or mobility matters. (Amera only; other ships not verified.)
