Princess Cruises

What Princess Cruises is like

Mid-to-large ships with a traditional cruise feel and extensive Alaska land-and-sea programs, suited to travelers who prefer classic cruising over waterparks and thrill rides.

Deep Alaska infrastructure

Princess runs its own Alaska lodges and domed railcars, pairing glacier cruises with Denali and national-park land tours. (Alaska cruisetours only.)

Wearable Medallion technology

A quarter-sized Medallion handles boarding, cabin entry, payments and ordering; Wi-Fi and deliveries carry fees unless packaged. (Presented as brand-wide; official page does not list ships.)

Classic, lower-key onboard style

Most classes skip waterslides and ropes courses, favoring pools, trivia, shows and dining; newest Sphere ships are busier. (Varies by ship class.)

Check before booking

• Fares come in Standard, Plus and Premier tiers with very different drinks, Wi-Fi and dining inclusions; compare total per-day cost, not headline fares.
• Amenities differ sharply by class, from feature-rich Sphere ships to simpler Coral-class ships; check which class sails your itinerary. (Ship-class specific.)
